I have worked in recruitment for almost all of my working life. Many things have changed over that time but one thing remains constant and at the forefront of what I do and believe in – recruitment is all about people. Great people are the building blocks of great companies.

I love what I do and put my years of experience to work every day – finding great companies’ great people and finding great people their dream job.

I specialise primarily in Insurance and Corporate recruitment and place the best people in the most progressive companies in Auckland. A highlight for me is Quinn Recruitment being the first local agency to specialise in Insurance recruitment. What an achievement!

Recruiting is a job where I can make a real difference to the lives of real people. There is nothing like the thrill of your client offering a job and your candidate enthusiastically saying yes. 
Outside of work I am a keen photographer. My love of photographing people gives me an excuse to travel to remote destinations whenever I can. My trusty Canon in hand is a constant.

Rachel started her career in recruiting on our permanent desk and took a real pride in finding people careers rather than simply finding them a job. When she was offered the chance to head our Temporary Division, she leapt at that opportunity.

Rachel is a ‘people person’. Clients and job seekers love what she does for them and state she is the best! She has well developed candidate networks across all industry sectors enabling her to quickly and efficiently source exceptional temporary staff. When the skills sought are rare and difficult to locate Rachel always manages through her sources to bring them into the Quinn network.

Rachel’s recipe for success is quite simple. She genuinely likes people. Once temporaries start working with her, they tend to remain working for her. She supports people and cares for their wellbeing in a way that is unique in our industry. We love that quality!

Rachel hails from the UK, Lincolnshire to be precise and has lived in New Zealand since 2007.

She is a proud supporter of the Warriors and never misses a local game. Apart from loving New Zealand, the Warriors and Recruiting and not necessarily in that order, Rachel has a four-legged friend called Patch who she rescued and is now possibly the most loved dog in the entire world.
