Reputation and time in the market counts! Our team put people first. When you work with one of us you work with all of us. We are all about partnerships. We don’t have a “one size fits all” approach to recruiting. We work with you, for you and alongside you – always with your end goal in mind. Each one of us brings specialist niche market skills. What does this mean to you – a client looking for great people or a job seeker looking to find that dream company? It means we understand exactly what you do. It means recognising that peoples career aspirations are unique to them. It means we have market knowledge. At QUINN we cultivate strong and, in many instances, exclusive relationships with businesses locally and nationwide. We genuinely care about people. Whether it be a night out bowling or working together to achieve great things for great people. AT QUINN we are all about TEAMWORK.
I have worked in recruitment for almost all of my working life. Many things have changed over that time but one thing remains constant and at the forefront of what I do and believe in – recruitment is all about people. Great people are the building blocks of great companies.
I love what I do and put my many years of experience to work every day – finding great companies’ great people and finding great people their dream job.
I specialise primarily in Insurance and Corporate recruitment and place the best people in the most progressive companies in Auckland. A highlight for me is Quinn Recruitment being the first local agency to specialise in Insurance recruitment. What an achievement!
Recruiting is a job where I can make a real difference to the lives of real people. There is nothing like the thrill of your client offering a job and your candidate enthusiastically saying yes.
Outside of work I am a keen photographer. My love of photographing people gives me an excuse to travel to remote destinations whenever I can. My trusty Canon in hand is a constant.

I love recruiting. The fact that I can change a person’s life for the better is simply the best feeling in the world. It is even better when you place someone in a job and 6, 12, 18 months later you call them and they say “guess what Robbie – I have been promoted”. Now that’s a warm fuzzy feeling.

Love what you do! Always be curious! Apply a beginner’s mind to things! Continue to learn and adapt! Explore your own backyard! There are amazing places in Aotearoa. I practice this mantra every day and it works for me!

Rachel started her career in recruiting on our permanent desk and took a real pride in finding people careers rather than simply finding them a job. When she was offered the chance to head our Temporary Division, she leapt at that opportunity.
Rachel is a ‘people person’. Clients and job seekers love what she does for them and state she is the best! She has well developed candidate networks across all industry sectors enabling her to quickly and efficiently source exceptional temporary staff. When the skills sought are rare and difficult to locate Rachel always manages through her sources to bring them into the Quinn network.
Rachel’s recipe for success is quite simple. She genuinely likes people. Once temporaries start working with her, they tend to remain working for her. She supports people and cares for their wellbeing in a way that is unique in our industry. We love that quality!
Rachel hails from the UK, Lincolnshire to be precise and has lived in New Zealand since 2007.
She is a proud supporter of the Warriors and never misses a local game. Apart from loving New Zealand, the Warriors and Recruiting and not necessarily in that order, Rachel has a four-legged friend called Patch who she rescued and is now possibly the most loved dog in the entire world.
Areas of Specialisation: Temporaries across all sectors – Insurance, Legal, Travel and Corporate.

Helping a candidate who had been in New Zealand for a while but was unable to find a role in their field. They were really low on confidence and self-belief but working with them to build their confidence I helped them gain a new role doing what they loved. This is why I love recruitment. I get to help people every day.
Rachel’s Top Recruiting Tip
In recruiting it is essential that we get to really know our clients. It is through learning about their business that we are able to gain an insight into not only the in-demand skill sets they look for, but also team and cultural fit. It is this skill that allows us to create the perfect match for the long-term and ensures our clients see us as trusted partners.
Salli joined our Quinn Family after several successful years in the Travel Industry. Salli is a people person so working in recruitment is the dream job for her. When all is said and done – our business is all about people. It is about guiding and shaping people’s careers. Salli understands the challenges facing New Zealand companies in 2021 – finding and employing the right people. Salli has a unique talent for identifying people with the skills and attitudes that really set them apart – people that make a real difference to any company.
During her time at Quinn, Salli has really connected with the Insurance and Legal communities. She knows that success in recruitment is about creating win- win situations for client’s and job seekers. She loves our one-team approach – when you work with one of us you work with all of us.
When she is not placing great people with our great clients it is likely you will find Salli hard at work training for her next Aqua-Bike event. Salli enjoys keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle and tries to inspire us to do the same. No challenge is ever too daunting for Salli. Her latest challenge is teaching us all Te reo.
