Technology cannot take the place of how we interact with people. We need to have a clear understanding of how we want to interact with people as humans. We need to understand why we use social media platforms, but also appreciate that we do not create genuine social connections through them. When businesses return to their new normal and their appetite for increasing their usage of digital platforms returns, we need to remember the lessons we have learnt from the pandemic. Human are wired to connect with other humans. It is our ability to connect with real people in real time that is our key competitive advantage.
