I am finding that this Brave New World of social distancing is in fact bringing us all a little bit closer.
Conversations that I have with clients and candidates all feel real and genuine. We all seem to be experiencing the same things and we all seem to be genuinely concerned for one another. My mantra has always been be human first. There is nothing that will build a relationship of loyalty and trust more than being a human before being a Recruiter. In today’s world we are creating more human connections than we have seen in decades. Recruiters love talking. We talk to a lot of people daily. Many of these people are concerned about their futures. We cannot make false promises that everything is going to be OK but one thing we can do is make sure our conversations are human.
Let’s embrace the way we now communicate. Let’s all embrace this Brave New World connecting and communicating and placing real value on people.
