Recruiters are Brand Ambassadors

Recruiters are brand ambassadors for the companies we represent, the companies we work for and ourselves.  Being a brand ambassador isn’t just a “nice-to-have”—it’s a business must have if we want to stand out in a crowded market. Recruiting done well is the bridge between a company’s success and a job seekers career pathway. Great recruiters don’t just fill jobs. They work in partnership with clients, telling the clients story. A skilled recruiter will shape the candidates first experience of a company – showcasing the company culture, and advocate a client as an employer of choice.  It doesn’t matter what your business does, providing an exceptional customer experience at the first touch point is what makes the difference between an average company and a great one. It is all about going way beyond what a customer expects. I talk to people every day – people looking for work and people who may have work opportunities. I try to keep at the forefront of my mind, irrespective of the noise going on around me, that being a brand ambassador is the entire point of recruiting, and done well, it is my competitive advantage.
