The holidays season is fast approaching. Our office is ablaze with tinsel and the Christmas song play list has taken centre stage. I have never worked out if it is the Holiday Season or the expectation of what Santa may bring that recruiters love the most about this time of year. Possibly both.
As we wind down (a myth that recruiting ever winds down), it is an opportune time to thank all the amazing people I have worked with, connected with and assisted in their careers this year. Hiring managers, job seekers and work colleagues – I appreciate every one of you and continue to learn from you. After many decades I can still say with real enthusiasm – I love being a Recruiter. I believe it is the best job in the world.
I plan to use the holiday season to unwind by hitting the pause button. I will be enjoying time with friends, family and spending many days out on the Waitemata.
As 2024 comes to an end, I thank you for your support and for choosing Quinn to represent you.
