Broker Facing/Business Development Underwriter

Permanent (Full-Time) Position

You will be focused on: 

  • Managing and growing existing Broker relationships
  • Identifying and developing new business prospects
  • Regular portfolio reviews
  • Managing client visit schedules
  • Assessing risks (high net worth homes/antiquities/art)
  • Proposal presentations to clients
  • Keeping abreast of market trends

To be successful you will bring to this role:

  • Results and profit focus
  • Motivation to achieve business goals
  • Relevant background in Broking or F&G Underwriting that demonstrates strong relationship management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to coach, mentor and advise underwriters
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance products
  • Knowledge of legislative and Insurance regulatory requirements
